German- Martina
Martina is from Germany but she and her family have lived all over the world. Now based in Vienna, she he is speaker of German, English, Italian and Spanish, and works with our pre-IBDP students of German.
German- Steffi
Steffi is from Germany and has degrees in German Linguistics and Literature and Applied Linguistics and teachers at IBMYP and IBDP levels at an IB World School.
German- Stephanie
Stephanie is a German polyglot who has travelled the world teaching German to students of all ages, including IBMYP and IBDP students.
German- Vera
Vera is an experienced IB German teacher who has taught internationally and now lives in the USA.
Greek- Eleni
Eleni is based in Athens and has a long-established career as a teacher of Greek Literature
Greek- Konstantinos
Konstantinos is from northern Greece where he attended one of the four selective schools in Greece specialising in Ancient Classics and Modern Greek and Literature .
Greek- Sonia
Like many of our ILLTC students, Sonia grew up in different places as a child, and did her university studies in Greece and the USA .
Hebrew- Yaara
Yaara was born in Israel, studied in Tel Aviv and has worked as an IB language teacher in London. She has recently returned to Israel.
Hebrew- Tamara
Tamara was born in Israel, studied film and journalism in Tel Aviv and has worked as a journalist and Hebrew teacher in Luxembourg and the UK
Hindi- Prabha
Prabha was born and raised in Calcutta and now works in Singapore as a Hindi Language A teacher in an IB World School.
Hungarian- Peter
Peter has loved Hungarian Literature since his days as a high school student.
Hungarian – Rita
Rita teaches Hungarian at a London University, but she also has a passion for theatre and drama.
Icelandic-Helgi
Helgi is an accomplished musician who shares his passion for the expressive arts by providing an inspiring platform for students of IB Icelandic Literature.
Indonesian- Soe
Soe is an experienced university lecturer and published author who is now living in London.
Italian- Ester
Ester is from Florence where she studied Italian Language and Literature, and is now based in the UK where she has taught at two IB World Schools
Italian- Luca
Luca is a teacher of Italian language and literature who studied and taught in London and in Oxford before returning to Florence where he is a teacher, poet and author.
Italian- Paola
Paola is from the south of Italy but has also studied and taught in Rome and now London where she teaches Italian to students of all ages.
Italian- Serena
Serena was born and raised in Italy. She has lived in London for more than 25 years teaching at IBMYP, IBDP and university level.
Japanese- Etsuko
Etsuko is originally from Japan but now lives in the UK where she has been a teacher of Japanese at two IB World Schools.
Japanese- Makiko
Makiko is originally from Japan but has travelled to North and South America, Australia Europe, Asia and the Middle East a teacher of Japanese A&B at several IB World Schools.
Japanese- Mika
Mika grew up in Japan but has been in the UK since she first came to do her graduate studies.
Japanese- Mitsuo
Mitsuo is from Japan but has been in the UK for many years where he has taught Japanese in many contexts, including at a London IB World School
Japanese- Noriko
Mika is a bit of a polyglot who was raised in Japan and, after earning a degree in French, came to the UK where she now teaches Japanese in an IB World School
Japanese- Sayaka
Sayaka grew up in Japan where she earned her degree in Japanese and teaching qualifications but now teaches at an IB School in Germany
Japanese- Nakoho
Nahoko is a native of Japan. She has taught Japanese language, literature and culture in Japan, Australia and the UK where she is now working on a PhD.
Japanese – Yuko
Nahoko is a native of Japan who now lives in London and teaches at two IB World Schools
Kazakh- Bakytgul
Bakytgul is from Kazakhstan where she is a teacher, author, translator, and lifelong learner.
Khmer- Sophea
Besides working as a teacher if IB Languagea A Khmer, Sophea is a highly successful international translator and interpreter who has worked in a wide range of topics and fields in her native Cambodia
Korean- Mi-Sook
Mi Sook is from Korea but has travelled and lived in India and Singapore where she is a teacher of Korean A at an IB World School.
Korean- Suna
Suna was born and educated in Korea but started her teaching career working in some of Australia’s most prestigious IB World Schools.
Korean- Youha
Youha has taught Korean Language and Literature in many varied contexts.
Mandarin- Dawei
Dawei has recently relocated to Greece from China where he lived briefly after several years studying and teaching in the UK ..
Mandarin- Ma
Ma (Maggie Ma) was born and raised in China and now teaches Mandarin Literature at an IB World School..
Mandarin- Susie
Susie derives great pleasure seeing her pupils of all ages speaking Mandarin!
Mandarin- Yang
Yang was born in China where she studied Chinese Language and Literature Education at Zhejiang Ocean University and Chinese Contemporary Literature and Cultural Studies from East China Normal University. She now lives in the UK where has taught at three IB World Schools
Mandarin- Yanping
Yanping had a successful teaching career in China before relocating to London where she teaches at an IB World School
Mandarin- Yee
Yee started her career working in a French bank in Hong Kong but soon felt a passion for teaching and has worked IB World Schools in London and Switerland.
