Yuko grew up in Japan and studied Japanese Literature at Miyagi Gakuin University and also qualified as a secondary school teacher. She also earned a qualification in the Advanced Skills of teaching Japanese for Foreigners. She after teaching in Japan for ten years, she came to the UK, and for the past four years she has worked at an IB World School in London where she teaches IB MYP Language and Literature and Japanese Language B at IBDP Level. She has recently started at a second IB World School where she teaches Japanese A. Yuko has also worked with students preparing for GCSE and A Level Japanese.
We are pleased to have Yuko on the team as a teacher of Japanese for our younger pre-IBDP Students and for students of Japanese B and Japanese A.
