Rita was born and raised in Kaposvár, Hungary and live there until she moved to Budapest to study acting and drama at the Theatrum Academy of Performing Arts where she earned a BA, and then at Eötvös Loránd University where she earned an MA in Hungarian Language Linguistics and Literature.  She then worked as a teacher and language coordinator at a private bilingual school in Budapest until she moved to London.  In London she has taught from nursery age to adults.  She has been a teacher Teacher and Chair of Trustees of Eszter Szudóczki Hungarian Language School. In the UK she secured Qualified Teacher Status and has continued her studies taking courses on Hungarian-English translation, Global Citizenship and Language Examination at the School for East European Languages at University College London where she is now a teacher.  She is also a teacher and Secretary for the Hungarian Children and Parent Group in London where she has run courses on Hungarian language but also on drama and performing arts and offered courses leading to Hungarian language qualifications.

Besides teaching and schools, Rita has also worked as an actress, a volleyball referee and as a Data Speech Evaluator at Google through Adecco, and she has worked with our IBDP Hungarian students.  We are pleased to have someone of her expertise and experience on the team.
