Julie was born and raised in France where she earned a BS in Maths and Social Sciences from the University of Paris VII (Paris Diderot University), and also a Primary Teaching Degree (CERPE),  followed by an MA in French as a Foreign Language from the University of Grenoble (with a focus on Engineering and ICT).  She has also qualified to be a trainer and examiner in other French language certification programmes such as the DELF-DALF.   She has lived and worked all over the world:  France, Tanzania, Australia, Hong Kong, Vietnam, and Turkey teaching French with a variety of institutions:  The Alliance Francaise, the French Ministry of Education, HEC Paris Business School, and various French Institutes. Most recently in The Bahamas she taught French at an IB World School working with students from all ages in IB  PYP, MYP, and DP,  and her next destination is Romania where she will also work at an IB School.  She has also supervised SSST French Lit A students.   Julie draws on a strong repertoire of skills, using music and song to teach pronunciation, youth literature to engage young readers, and she has designed and managed digital education resources and evaluations making her no stranger to the world of online digital teaching for our iLLTC Students.   We are pleased that Julie  brings this wealth of global experience to our team.
