Anita was born and brought up in India and completed her schooling in Uttar Pradesh. She holds a Bachelor of Education and a Master’s Degree in Library Science from Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Lucknow, and an MA in Hindi Literature from Shreemati Nathibai Damodar Thackersey Women’s University (SNDT University), Mumbai. She also holds a Cambridge International Diploma for teachers and trainers.
She has 18 years of experience in teaching Hindi and for the past 10 years she has worked at two IB World Schools, one in Pune and the other in Mumbai. As an experienced IB educator, Anita has attended many IB professional development training programmes and has conducted a few too. She has been trained as an IB School Visitor, Extended Essay workshop leader, CAS workshop leader, IB Hindi B workshop leader, and has executed the roles of the same. Anita loves to explore new places and languages and is currently learning advanced level Spanish from Hispanic Horizon Institute, Mumbai.
Anita currently lives in Mumbai where she is the Head of Faculty for Languages at an IB World School. She has previously supervised SSST Hindi students and has also supervised Extended Essays, and is pleased to extend this support to other SSST Hindi clients worldwide.
