Angeles is from France where she was raised bilingually, speaking Spanish and French. (She also speaks Catalan.) She studied Spanish at the Sorbonne gaining a BA Honours in Spanish, followed by an MA in Teaching French as a Foreign Language (Maîtrise de Français Langue Etrangère). After teaching French language to adults of diverse backgrounds in Paris, she moved to the UK to continue her teaching career, working in variety of independent schools where she taught both French and Spanish to secondary students of all ages, including students preparing for GCSEs and A-Levels in Oxfordshire in England. She continued working with older students and adults at various universities and language schools, including Oxford University Language Centre. For the past 10 years she has taught at an IB World School in Oxford, where her subjects range from pre-IBDP classes to French and Spanish Language B. She has also organised school trips to France, and serves as a personal tutor for groups of students, advising them on course selection and transition to the IBDP programmes. As an IB teacher she has participated in several professional development courses in the UK. She is also an examiner for A-Levels. She has also supervised IB Extended Essays in both French and Spanish. We are delighted that Angeles is available to work with our IBDP Language B and pre-IBDP Spanish and French students.
